Update: The Iconastas gallery in Piccadilly Arcade closed in April 2018. We continue to sell our unique art through the website.

About Us:

Who were we?

The Gallery in the arcade might have been small, but it was packed with an ever-changing stock of Russian art from the Byzantine era right up to the end of the 20th century, through the years of Imperialism and latterly Communism.  They sold Fabergé, Icons, silver and enamel.  They also sold woodwork and lacquer boxes, crosses and sculptures.  The gallery was one of a kind and customers used to come for shopping respite, to browse for hours or simply to come and chat over a takeaway coffee.  My husband saw the shop as an extension of his life and would happily have spent his retirement there, had it not come so suddenly.

Our stock is to be found in many famous collections around the world and our clientele ranged from paupers to Princes - the Queen of Spain among the royalty who used to drop in to buy gifts.
Sadly, both John (deceased 2011) and Chris (deceased on 25th December 2018) are no longer with us.  However, since my husband’s death and with the help of other experts we are continuing to sell the stock to our private customers.

Where are we ?

Now that our shop in Piccadilly Arcade is closed, I work by email and appointment only from secure storage premises.  Please do get in touch if you are looking for any specific items or artist’s work.  If you are wishing to sell, although we are no longer buying stock, we can always try to put you in touch with other dealers or collectors who might be able to help.

Shipping Arrangements

We are happy to ship items around the world and will get you a quote from the courier; we usually use UPS but can use any courier that you'd prefer to specify.
