Russian brass Icons

This collection dates from the 16th century right through to the 19th century, including enameled examples as well as pierced and plain brass Russian Icons. Please also note our general collection of Russian Orthodox Icons.We also have a large collection of the earliest Russian bronze crosses from the 10th. - 12th. Centuries. We are saddened by the death of one of our more interesting customers Mr.Y. Golubev the author of the beautifully produced book on brass Icons "Symbols and Images" published in 2002. Mr.Golubev was one of the founders of Yukos and one of the most educated and inspiring people we have met.
