 | A very ill friend has asked if we will sell a part of his collection of paintings including some by Anatoly Zverev. The life of Zverev was extraordinary , living most of it in abject poverty and apparently so shabby with unmatched footwear and ragged clothing he was thrown out of Art school to find a job painting fences in a park where he created a magical, colourful scene of fantasy birds just using a broom and two pails of paint....The paintings we have ,show a vivid imagination coming to life on canvas in squeezed and fingered oils.
